近日，美國大學(xué)本科通用申請平臺(tái)即Common Application（以下簡稱Common App）公布了新一年申請的相關(guān)信息。這里有兩個(gè)好消息傳達(dá)給大家~

首先，Common App剛剛宣布新的一年及2016-17年申請的主文書話題將與去年完全一致，如下（5選1）：

1. Some students have a background, identity, interest, or talent that is so meaningful they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story.

2. The lessons we take from failure can be fundamental to later success. Recount an incident or time when you experienced failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience?

3. Reflect on a time when you challenged a belief or idea. What prompted you to act? Would you make the same decision again?

4. Describe a problem you've solved or a problem you'd like to solve. It can be an intellectual challenge, a research query, an ethical dilemma - anything that is of personal importance, no matter the scale. Explain its significance to you and what steps you took or could be taken to identify a solution.

5. Discuss an accomplishment or event, formal or informal, that marked your transition from childhood to adulthood within your culture, community, or family.

這樣一來就意味著高二年級或者11年級的同學(xué)們可以早早準(zhǔn)備啦，不用擔(dān)心主文書會(huì)有太大變化了；不妨與高三學(xué)長學(xué)姐們多交流，不過千萬不要直接借鑒或照抄??！

另外，據(jù)Common App官方消息，2015-16年一共約有80萬申請者通過Common App提交了申請。而其中，47%的申請者選擇了第一個(gè)話題，22%選擇了第五個(gè)話題，17%選擇了第二個(gè)話題，10%選擇了第四個(gè)話題，而僅有4%選擇了第三個(gè)話題。

其次，另一個(gè)受歡迎的變化是關(guān)于學(xué)生賬號注冊方面的，以往任何當(dāng)年8月1日前注冊的賬號（無論哪個(gè)年級）在8月1日都會(huì)被系統(tǒng)自動(dòng)刪除和清理，所有申請者只能等到8月1日后注冊才被認(rèn)可，而如今這一政策發(fā)生了變化和調(diào)整：

a. 所有學(xué)生都可以通過apply.commonapp.org 這個(gè)網(wǎng)址來注冊Common App賬號，而不必?fù)?dān)心賬號被清理，不過如果不是當(dāng)年畢業(yè)學(xué)生（即所謂12月不進(jìn)入大學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)的學(xué)生）應(yīng)當(dāng)在注冊界面選擇other student。

b. 所有注冊信息會(huì)被保留，包括個(gè)人信息及分配的Common ID，等學(xué)生進(jìn)入高三后，仍然可以以同樣的郵箱作為Common App申請賬戶；所以，在選擇郵箱作為注冊信息方面，還是要謹(jǐn)慎和認(rèn)真些，最好專門申請一個(gè)用于大學(xué)申請的可靠的郵箱。
