美國國土安全部和移民局聯(lián)合宣布將對STEM專業(yè)范圍修訂，新增加8個專業(yè)領(lǐng)域。在這些領(lǐng)域?qū)W習的學生可獲得36個月的OPT期限，無疑給留學生提供了便利，更有利于繼續(xù)留美工作，分別為:

需要注意的是，具體能否拿到資格，還得看你就讀的美國大學是否提交了相應(yīng)材料給政府，將該專業(yè)申請為STEM。
其實，很多學校都迫不及待地想往STEM里多加幾個專業(yè)。畢竟，STEM專業(yè)新增+OPT延期，能夠讓更多的留學生有充分時間在美國求職實習、就業(yè)。OPT不僅是在美國積累工作經(jīng)驗的途徑，也是取得美國工作簽證H1B的重要途徑。
除此以外，有長達3年美國工作經(jīng)驗，如同給簡歷鑲了“金邊”。出國留學的學生并不少，但是有工作經(jīng)驗的海歸還是非常搶手的。
